History - How do we know what holidays were like 100 years ago?

 For our Seaside topic in history today, year 1 looked at picture of British beaches from around 100 years ago. We talked previously about the differences between how people go to the beach now and how people went to the beach 100 years ago. 

The children then used the pictures to create a checklist to identify the things they would need to include on a poster to advertise a beach holiday 100 years ago.
