 Today, the children recapped the story of the enormous turnip. Everyone is getting very confident with retelling the whole story. We then looked at innovating two of the key parts of the story: the main character and the enormous vegetable. Have a look at some of the children’s innovated ideas. 

Today we used the laptops again. We had to open a word document and then used the keyboard to type. We practised typing the eight tricky words that we have learnt in phonics this week. 

Today in Maths we looked at telling the time to the hour. We found out that a clock has a long minute hand and a short hour hand. We practised telling the time to the hour - o’clock.
